Agder Energi Venture acquires 61.4 % of Nordgröön Energie

Enfo's owners, Agder Energi Venture, have now bought 61,4% of the shares in Nordgröön Energie GmbH & Co. KG in a move to position itself in Continental Europe.

“The investment in Nordgröön Energie is an exciting investment in the German distributed renewables market that will prepare Agder Energi for the ongoing changes in the European power markets” says Tor Øystein Repstad, CEO Agder Energi Venture.

Agder Energi Venture (AEV), a subsidiary of Agder Energi, invests in energy related companies that are in an early to mature phase. Nordgröön Energie is a young company established in 2013 by the experienced energy professionals Torge Wendt and Marko Bär. The company focuses on energy logistics, optimizing, and integration of renewable energy via virtual power plants.

“The agreement with our new strategic shareholder was only logical for us and underlined our 100% renewable orientation as well as our growth path. I am glad to have found the partnership with Agder Energi, who perfectly supports and complements our goals and orientation.” says Torge Wendt, CEO of Nordgröön Energi

“Nordgröön Energie is an ideally positioned energy company with knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff that I look forward to working with” says Harald von Heyden, who has entered into the role as co-CEO of Nordgröön Energie in addition to his role as CEO of Enfo AS.
